) and learn from Paris’ baking rock star — Anthony Courteille.

In the uberhip le Marais neighborhood, we go behind the scenes in Paris’ most buzzed-about boulangerie-patisserie – SAIN Boulangerie.
We then commence a small-group workshop (limited to 4 participants) where we meet the team of Anthony Courteille–Michelin Guide-listed chef & top Paris boulanger.
In his bakery we roll up our sleeves and, under his team’s expert guidance, we will learn the techniques — hands on — of how to make delicious croissants and pain au chocolats, [plus one surprise, seasonal pastry] ourselves, in a 2-hour overview of the baking process! Using top quality ingredients + employing the secrets of the best Parisian bakers — we will make breakfast for the next day!
While our creations bake, we enjoy a tasting of pastries and coffee (or tea, juice, etc)
Then we leave with memories of clocking a shift in a renown Parisian bakery — and a bag of treats for the next morning’s breakfast (or an afternoon snack, we don’t judge…)

In this 2.5 hour experience, we will explore the different steps professional ‘pâtissières‘ take to create the magic that is the hot French croissant. As the process takes over 24 hours, we will go ‘out of order’ so that you can experience almost every step of the process. You will leave with your own recipe booklet and notebook to take a piece of Paris home.
Et voilà ! Your own viennoiseries, Made in Paris 😉
Are you ready to become a Parisian baker, even for just a few hours?
✰ approximately 2 to 2.5 hours duration ✰
✰ we are able to accommodate up to 4 guests for an intimate, hands-on experience ✰
✰ our ‘ateliers’ are held at 3:00pm in the le Marais neighborhood near the Arts et Métiers museum✰
✰ the processes is necessarily out-of-order so you can try your hand at almost all facets of making viennoseries + a surprise pastry ✰
Good to Know
No baking experience is necessary — we will guide you and make sure it looks + tastes ‘très chic‘… If you would like to book a spot for children under 10, please choose the ‘book privately’ option or contact us for a time slot if the one you desire is not available. The workshop is not suitable for children under 8 as we are around professional equipment in a real boulangerie.
